On Saturday, June 12th, from 8:30am-12pm at Seattle Central Community College (Mitchell Activity Center), is the College Bound Scholarship Conference. The event has 2 primary goals:

1) Sign Up 7-8th graders up for the College Bound Scholarship

Mentor2College is a FREE program targeted at Juniors, starting the summer before their Senior year.  This program is designed to equip students with the necessary tools to become successful college applicants.

What's being cut from the state budget in Olympia?

Scholarship money, for one thing. School is expensive, and now, state-funded scholarships are in danger of being hacked from the budget. This is Sonny's story -- check it out.
