I read the bible of capitalism (fountainhead) that was pretty enjoyable, and included romance surprisingly enough. I like all Kurt Vonnegut's stuff, Orson Scott Card, George Orwell, Isaac Asimov, I'm getting ready to read the autobiography of Malcolm X, Ecotopia, a brief history of Islam,....the list goes forever.

For me, you can't just rely on schools to educate you, you have to take your own education in your own hands. Someone I respect will give or recommend me a book and I'll put it on my to do list. Too many of the people I respect recommend books.
