I'm not sure what you think I am making up. It is a fact that single parenthood is the #1 cause of poverty. And it is also a fact that 70% of black children are born to single parents. These are facts, why you seem intent on ignoring them is beyond me.
In order to overcome your problems, you first have to admit that you do in fact have problems. The black community seems unable to do this, and would rather blame those problems on white people.

Mr. S, I have a quesiton for you? Exactly where is it you are obtaining your "facts"? Also, what is "your" criteria for a single-parent....Born to parents that aren't married, one income in the house hold, father or mother deceased? I think you should be more specific, because these are vital pieces to your agruement that are missing and before I repsond or chalk your comment up as ignorant, i'd like to get a grasp of your point of view.....

The article mentions the shooting of an unarmed man, but it happened on New Years and had literally NOTHING to do with the killing of these 4 police officers. So why bother mentioning it, as if it is some excuse for killing 4 cops?
And I understand why you might feel like cops unfairly target black people or non-whites, but the fact is that blacks and hispanics are more likely to commit crimes. This has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with the lack of a family structure in the black/hispanic culture. You want to fix the problems that black people face in America, get them to raise their kids. It is really that simple.
I have to deal with kids breaking the law frequently, and the one common thread is that they do not have a father that is a regular participant in their lives, or is an otherwise negative influence.

Tragic story about a black guy that shot 5 police officers, killed 3, with 1 in critical condition. Put yourself in their shoes before you judge them. They don't have an easy job.
