uniform

Today I would like to talk about how we don’t like uniform because uniform make us feel like we are in prison and everybody wear the same color everyday. We would like to wear our free dress clothes because our parent bought us new clothes that we could wear everyday but we can’t wear it until wear it until Friday and people cant take it they want to wear it badly. When we past by other people they would say “Uniform stinks! I want to wear my free dress clothes” and we all feel the same thing when we wear the same clothes. Uniform make me feel like we are the weirdest school because we are the one who get out late and we wear uniform that is why I don’t like to wear uniform. People just like wearing regular clothes not just uniform. People think that uniform is really boring and that they really don’t like uniform. So we don’t like uniform because we all really think that uniform stinks! And we want to wear our own clothes because our parent wasted the money they spent on our clothes for school. We would really like to wear our own clothes because it is better to share our feelings than the uniform that we had to wear. If we wear our own clothes people would be happy for what we wear and what we do because some people have dance class after school and they don’t want to wear uniform they would like to wear free dress clothes where we feel comparable to dance in.

I like uniforms but sometimes I don't. I like uniforms because when I have nothing to wear or I don't have any new clothes (meaning,, unseen clothes by others.),, I can wear them. I don't like them because sometimes, when I wanna express what I feel for a day,, I can do it by wearing my own clothes, excluding uniform.

This is a tough issue. If I was a middle school student then I would want the freedom to choose my outfits. Middle school is about forming your identity and we all know that style is part of that process.
On the other hand, think about all the young people that are less fortunate. The one's that can't afford to go and buy a lot of cool clothes. How do you think they feel going to school each day in the same clothes???? Probably not very good, huh. School uniforms level the playing field which helps eliminate some of the judging based on economic status.

i dont like uniform either, when you wear your clothes its like you get to tell something about yourself. haha if you wear a.....shirt with a cow on it then that tells people you like cows right? XD

I understand where you are coming from on the uniform issue. However, I think uniforms in school are a great idea, or at least having a strict dress code (logo-free polo shirt and khakis or slacks). What kind of uniforms do you have in your school? I think uniforms help students concentrate on school more instead of worrying about who is wearing the latest fashions. Kids won't feel left out if their parents can't afford nice clothes because everyone is wearing the same thing. Even if you wear uniforms in school, you still have plenty of time to wear your regular clothes.

What about the comfort issue? I’m personally really picky about my clothes. There no rhyme or reason to it, sometimes I just don’t find something comfortable and if I’m wearing that item I’ll be in a peculiar mood all day.
