Sign up for Camp Fire USA’s Youth Volunteer Corps today!
- Open to youth ages 11-18
- Qualifies for service learning credit
- Work in teams with non-profit organizations on a wide range of community projects
- You do not need to be a member of Camp Fire to participate
We need 500 teens to help us finish some projects this summer!
- One-day projects (often weekends, MLK JR. Day, Earth Day or National Youth Service Day)
- School-year service clubs (your local teen center, community center or school might have a weekly YVC drop-in service club). Call us to check
- School Breaks - Bored over your summer break? We have a huge variety of one day – 4 week projects. Something for everyone.
Projects include:
- Working with the homeless
- Painting bus shelters
- Working community festivals
- Organic gardening projects
- Clearing trails in parks and in the mountains
- Tutoring children
- Helping senior citizens
- Restoring salmon habitat
- Working with animal shelters
- Running a food drive
- Youth empowerment projects
- Working on HIV/AIDS issues
- and so much more!!!
