Peace

Peace.
Will always be
One of A Kind.
Not one war in the world.
Everyone gets along.
From Kindergarteners to High school Students.
To all the way to all the leaders of the world.
Nobody wants war.
Everyone gets along.
Like a fairy-tale.
No conflict.
Peace.

Peace we will find only in death. Not to sound glum, but it is true.

pessimism is an attitude, not a philosophy, and what does anybody living know for sure about death?

Mr.S wrote on December 17, 2008 - 3:18pm:

Its not pessimistic, I simply believe that we are not here to make the world a utopia, rather that we exist here to see if we are worthy of the utopia that exists after death.

Like the author said, peace is a fairytale.

how can you state that like you know it's fact though?

Mr.S wrote on December 18, 2008 - 10:56am:

I used the word "believe".

You said it like a fact

Mr.S wrote on December 19, 2008 - 2:01pm:

Well it is an almost universally held belief, especially since people in this world have never known peace in our entire existence. I don't see why you have such a problem with that statement.

define peace? Peace in a political sense is a line of bs, interpersonal peace has happened many times

This is an amazing poem. It's so hopeful, yet still points out peace has become a fairy tale ideal; don't we all wish for a world like this someday?
